Due to growth, The Oliver Group (www.olivergroup.com) is searching for new Area Directors (AD’s) in Chicago,Cincinnati/northern Kentucky and Louisville/Lexington. ***Ohio candidates must reside in Hamilton County***

We are seeking independent self- starters to join our team in this exciting time.  The AD’s will be key contributors to The Oliver Group’s continued success in the leadership consulting industry through the marketing, sales, and account management  (and potentially the delivery of consulting services and solutions within their skill set).

 

AD’s will have responsibility for generating revenue from new and existing clients and referrals, via the sourcing, development and maintenance of business relationships as well as when appropriate, delivering consulting solutions and fulfilling client consulting engagement expectations.

What Do We Need From New Area Directors?

 

Ø  Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or similar field 

Ø  10 years track record of success in developing relationships in complex business environments

o   Experience networking with and selling to C VP levels

o   Prospecting, negotiating and closing

o   Account/client management

o   Ability to influence others, with experience in customer-focused solution selling

o   Ability to present and support point of view constructively and persuasively

o   Ability to write proposals and implementation plans for services

o   Experience creating an effective and strategic sales plan including self-generated leads

o   Experience working with multiple services and variable solution opportunities

o   Experience working in an environment of high accountability

o   The ability to self-motivate as well as  work collaboratively

 

Ø  Extensive knowledge of business/economic fundamentals (revenue, c.o.s, gm, sga)

Ø  5 + years general business management experience (staff management, budgeting,   PL responsibilities) 

Ø  Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills; Speaking experience is a plus

       Ø  Consulting experience a plus 

Ø  The ability to recognize opportunity for improvement and contribute to change and ongoing innovation  

Ø  Ability to organize and manage time to operate effectively in a fast paced, competitive marketplace
