Sr. Sales Engineer Job

Responsibities:

Sells the company�s products or services in the field. Calls on prospective customers, providing technical and administrative product information and/or demonstrations, and quotes appropriate customer prices. Responsible for meeting assigned sales quota. Represents the company to the customer and the customer to the company in sales related matters; understanding of customer�s business and product requirements is necessary. Fully knowledgeable about company products. Responsible for selling the company�s products by managing the distribution channel of customers. Develops new accounts and/or expands existing accounts within the distribution channel. Creates awareness and demand for company product. Customers may be geographic or named accounts. Requires a Bachelor�s degree in Sales, Marketing, Engineering, or appropriate field and typically at least three years of progressive sales experience.

Marketing Activities
Gather competitor information; and look for opportunities to develop new products for customers in order to develop and sell products that better meet customer demands.

Sales Activities
Develop sales plan for the territory; and negotiate pricing, terms and conditions for all contracts; and coordinate with customer service supporting the territory in order to achieve sales penetration and account growth targets. Managing distributors for various regions/product categories. Providing technical service support to various accounts when needed.

Customer Relationship Maintenance
Create and maintain relationships with assigned account(s) within territory in order to grow sales revenue per key account.

Internal Coordination
Coordinate the activities of product management and technical service in order to maintain high customer satisfaction with the Energy's products and services.

Technical Support
Provide adequate technical support to distributor and end user on Energy products

Qualifications:

1. Technical Bachelors Degree (eg. Electrical Engineering, etc), 3-years or above sales experience in related energy/engineering products preferable.

2. Strong sales approach, interpersonal/social skills, communication, time management skill.
