Position Summary: The Sr. SAP Basis Administrator is responsible for implementions, maintainence, and ongoing support, for all SAPapplications/environments that support corporate business functions and needs. This is a permanent position based out of our Philadelphia Headquarters.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide guidance on the design, architecture and delivery of new and existing SAP solutions (BW, BO, SEM, CRM,E-Recruitment, MSS, ESS, NWDI architecture, Solution Manager, etc.) using Enterprise Portal, SAP Netweaver and WAS.Install and configure new SAP Netweaver applications and components.Configure and support integration with third party SAP systems and software.Develop procedures and guidelines related to modification, upgrading and application of patches for SAP related systems and components. Setup and maintain consistent SAP backup and Disaster Recovery procedures for SAP servers.Support day-to-day tickets created by SAP Helpdesk relating to SAP Servers and SAPs Software. Develop and maintain project schedule including task management initiatives.Perform Oracle DBA, network and high availability configuration, system performance and optimization techniques.Provide team leadership skill, transfer knowledge and provide guidance for SAP operations, configuration, monitoring and tuning to peers and Jr. Basis Team members.
Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesHands on knowledge of installation, configuration and security of SAP's reporting suite Business Object, Crystal Report,Infoview Portal and integration with SAP PortalExpertise in HP-UX Server operating systems and Windows 2003 and SAN.Strong SAP WAS Java stack troubleshooting abilityEffective communication skillsExcellent teamwork, interpersonal and management interaction skills
Minimum Education and ExperienceBachelors Degree in Computer Science or Engineering8-10 years of experience in SAP Basis area with updated knowledge on of SAP Netweaver suite like ECC 6 (EHP 4), BW,Portals(ESS/MSS), NWDI, CRM, E-recruitment on HPUX/Windows on OracleSAP Technical CertificationCB3, MON3, DIC2
