CCIE in Security is preferred.
General Network Security Resource: good breadth of expertise with the following: Must be very competent with FWSM (Firewall Services Module). Must be competent with CS-Manager (Cisco Security Manager). Must be competent with Cisco and 3rd Party IDS/IPS (Intrusion Prevention). Must be competent with Cisco and 3rd Party VPN solutions including three-factor authentication solutions. Must have good troubleshooting and operational knowledge and expertise.
Consultative Skills: Must be able to act as a consultant with great analytical skills.
Must be able to capture the customer’s requirements, must be able to evaluate multiple possible solutions, must be able to apply customer requirements and product capabilities against those designs to provide an information-based recommendation.
