Senior Security Specialist - FSO Coordinates and monitors sensitive aspects of the Department of Defense (DoD) and National Security Agency (NSA) or other industrial security program, ensuring compliance with government and Company security policies and procedures and all appropriate local, state, and federal laws. Seeking a certified Facility Security Officer having a minimum of five years industrial security experience. Candidate will be responsible for maintaining the facility's industrial security program, administering, interpreting, implementing and enforcing policies and procedures in accordance with the Department of Defense (DoD) National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and other government agency directives. Security functions to be performed will include but are not limited to: Responsible for coordinating, initiating and maintaining personnel security clearances in JPAS, eQIP, and SIMS in accordance with NISPOM requirements, prepare, review and support the maintenance of Contract Security Classification Specifications DD 254s, conduct annual refresher security education, awareness and training, NATO briefings and other annual training as necessary, prepare for security compliance reviews/audits (internal and external), maintain accountability and control of classified documents, COMSEC material and equipment, administer security briefings and debriefings, conduct administrative inquiries and investigations, prepare visit authorization requests, collect data for metrics and analysis, ensure a safe and secure working environment for staff and visitors, and provide professional support and proactive customer service to coworkers, internal customers and external customers on a daily basis. Candidate will validate facility security clearances in the Industrial Security Facility Database (ISFD). Candidate will oversee and ensure the facility's admittance and badging policy is carried out and manage contractor guard force. Candidate will also participate in physical security risk assessments and implement physical security measures. Operate in accordance with corporate and division policies and practices and comply with accepted business ethics. Perform such other duties as may be assigned by the Regional Security Manager. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in appropriate discipline, and four years of related experience, or, in the absence of a bachelor's degree, ten years of related experience. Bachelor's degree in appropriate discipline, and six years of related experience, or, in the absence of a bachelor's degree, twelve years of related experience. Applicants must be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance. US Citizenship is required.
