Sr. Siebel Administrator
Fidelity Investments is seeking a Senior Siebel Administrator for our RTP, NC office. The Siebel Administration position, within the Production Operations organization, is responsible supporting multiple Siebel implementations and related applications. This individual will work as part of the Channel Support team to provide second and third level support for these environments. Additionally, the role requires working on strategic projects with business partners and systems groups providing technical services on a wide range of technologies, running primarily on Windows platforms.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for multiple Siebel CRM environments, on versions ranging from 7.5x to 8.1x.
- Participate in and/or lead infrastructure build activities as appropriate
- Maintain the current response and availability service levels with different business units.
- Monitor and resolve incidents associated to this product suite.
- Work with the team in resolving production issues and co-ordinate support activities with other technology partners.
- Interact with the onshore team as required, for issue resolution, status updates, product metrics, etc.
- Participate in Siebel On-call rotation and occasional after hours support
- As requested/necessary, support weekend change windows
- Ensure all activities adhere to ISO20K frameworks.
Education and Experience
- BA/BS degree
- 4-8+ years experience with Siebel Administration required
Skills and Knowledge
- Mastery of Siebel administration (version 7.8 and upwards).
- Migration of Siebel repository deployment of the Siebel application using ADM.
- Windows Server administration highly preferred.
- Excellent analytical, communication skills and prior experience in working directly with end customers.
- Experience in troubleshooting and being accountable to application end users.
Optional Skills
- Experience with Siebel Configuration and knowledge of the different Siebel components.
- Experience with Oracle Business Intelligence (OBI), Oracle Enterprise Manager (for Siebel support and management) and Oracle AIA
- Exposure to Oracle Database environments - understands fundamentals of the Oracle DB environment
- Exposure to Informatica, Control-M jobs and Siebel and F5 application load balancing.
- Exposure to other IT Service Management tools like the HP ServiceCenter, BMC Remedy or CA Unicenter Service Desk.
- Knowledge of ITIL process framework - Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management Service Level Management
- PL-SQL proficiency
- 2 yrs of experience with Unix (i.e AIX, Solaris, Linux) preferred
