Security Clearance: Top Secret

a. Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in one of the following academic fields: Information Systems Management; Computer Systems Analysis; Operations Research/Systems Analysis or related field; and five (5)years experience in computer experimentation system analysis.
b. Experience with any software programming and analytical requirements, database development and construction, and experimentation events.
c. Experience in experimentation theory, development and applications.
d. Experience in model gaming methodology and data base preparation.
e. Experience in operating and maintaining joint models, such as Joint Simulation Systems (JSIMS), Joint Combat and Training System (JCATS), Joint Theater Level Simulation (JTLS), Air Warfare SIMulation (AWSIM), Corp Battle Simulation (CBS), Joint Semi-Automated Forces (JSAF).

The Senior Modeling and Simulation (MS) Operator supports joint experimentation and joint training events, including tests by operating and maintaining models and simulations. Coordinates with MS branch chief and experimentation and training event planners to ensure most current validated versions of MS models / federates are used during events. Executes model upgrades in conjunction with model developers. Works independently maintaining and modifying complex systems or developing new subsystems. Systems typically input data from diverse sources and have multiple users. Typical duties include guiding users in formulating requirements; analyzing project proposals; arbitrating conflicts between users; recommending optimum approach; and developing systems design.
