Sr. Social / Mobile Game Designer Job in Anaheim 92805, California US
The Senior Game Designer must be both an outstanding game designer a practivcal, creative team member who can guide teach a group of talented developers designers. We are a growing company looking to add intelligent, passionate innovative people to our team who can help us develop the next generation of interactive software.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with Producers Creative Director to create ideas for game content.
- Take full design responsibility for the creation of content up to including wireframes, functional scope dialogues, game economy documentation.
- Participate in creating maintaining the complete vision of the game.
- Possess the ability to balance, design, tweak evaluate the fine details of the game mechanics on a daily basis.
- Must be able to work cooperatively with artists programmers to see the design vision executed through to completion.
- Theorize, create maintain detailed game design documentation throughout the project cycle.
- Coordinate with QA provide test qualifications.
- Remain up to date on industry trends techniques in game design.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years of development experience required.
- Must be a passionate gamer, especially in the MMO genre, with strong interest in pushing the genre forward creatively.
- Proven success in creating compelling (critically-acclaimed, fun commercially viable) encounters, game-play, activities scenarios.
- Intense creativity, a passion to revolutionize, the drive to expand on what is directly asked of you.
- Strong organizational skills: ability to keep track of minute details as well as the big picture while multitasking.
- Strong research skills required.
- Proficient in Visio, MS Word, Excel, etc.
