Key Roles Responsibilities
- A fully qualified, career-oriented, journey-level position, this opportunity allows you to use your skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of industry practices and company policies and procedures, resolving a wide range of issues in imaginative as well as practical ways.
- Your performance will be measured by delivery of agreed solutions within budgeted hours and your project management activities will include interaction with company and client managers and cost/schedule monitoring.
- While financial responsibilities include project cost estimating, proposal generation, and invoicing, you will help with trial periods, implementations, and configurations of Back Office / Accounting modules onsite for the clients and provide them with software training and consulting on UAT and other testing.
- You will analyze clients' needs and document possible software enhancements for RD while supporting the sales process through participation in product demonstrations and workshops to clients.
- You will work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors, demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions and interacts with senior internal and external personnel.
- You will oversee the completion of requirement definitions, functional specification, database design, system and technical architecture definition, implementation and unit system testing, development and implementation of detailed systems.
- You will provide both management and technical leadership and utilize project management tools to estimate projects and monitor planning and progress techniques.
- You will select, develop, and evaluate personnel’s to ensure the efficient operation of the function while individually delivering consulting project activities, ranging from client identification through final invoicing through medium- to long-term engagements requiring varied interpersonal and technical skills.
- Primary Location: Singapore
- Travel: Yes, across ASEAN 75% of the time. A challenge for the bold hearted.
Qualifications Skills
- A viable candidate would have 5 to 8 years of software delivery capabilities preferably COTS suites within Treasury Markets.
- You may also have related experience in the Banking/Financial Services sectors, with a focus on middle/back office tasks including confirmations, payments, funding, reconciliation and accounting.
- Proficiency in XML and experience with SQL (Oracle or Sybase) is a core requirement of the role.
- Experience in using, implementing, supporting Financial Market suites (Murex, Kondor, Misys, etc.) is highly desirable.
- You are an ‘A Class’ communicator (verbal and written), substantial client-facing experience and should have involvement in at least 3 full life-cycle projects.
- Technical responsibilities include problem identification, system architecture definition, hardware/software specification and/or design, implementation, testing, client training, and solution deployment.
- An education degree and stunning fluency in English language is mandatory.
