Job Description:

Spalding Consulting, Inc. is currently interviewing qualified candidates for a Sr. Software Developer position in support of a J2EE software application.  Responsibilities for this position include:

·         Software Development using modern technologies, methodologies, frameworks and concepts

·         Software Configuration Management and Application Lifecycle Management

·         Requirements Management, Schedule Estimation and Planning

·         Tier-III Help Desk Support

·         Superior Customer Service and Communication

·         Collaboration and Coordination with members of a cross-functional, distributed team

·         Business Intelligence and Data Visualization Tool Development

 

The position is located in Cherry Point, NC and will require a small amount of travel

 

Qualifications and Experience:

Experience developing software applications with J2EE and Oracle is required.  Experience with the following technologies and tools are desired:  JSF, ICEFaces, Spring, Hibernate, XHTML, Oracle relational modeling, PL/SQL, JavaScript, AJAX, ColdFusion, QlikView, Apache Tomcat, Eclipse, SVN, JIRA, Confluence and Bamboo. Five (5) or more years of relevant work experience using web and software development technologies is required

 

Degree: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related discipline is desired
