Position Summary
Develop software and system solutions for classification of L4 – L7 protocols Implement high performance forwarding software for features built on L4 – L7 classification
Responsibilities
- Design and develop L4 – L7 protocol and application analysis.
- Implement data path code for high performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer/engineering related field.
- 5+ years of industry experience.
- Strong knowledge of IP networking: routing, switching, and network standards.
- Strong knowledge and experience in writing code in C.
- Experience in classification of IP streams and associating to application is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of Application layer protocols. Detailed knowledge of HTTP protocol is desirable.
- Experience in Development of HTTP applications or Web Server applications is an advantage.
- Understanding and familiarity with web application technologies such as HTML, XML, and JavaScript is an advantage.
- Good UNIX knowledge including network configuration.
- Experience with network troubleshooting/management and protocol analysis tools is a plus.
- Proven ability to deliver products with highest quality and on-time.
- Good collaboration skills, communication, and writing skills are required.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Daily computer use in an office environment.
