Sr Software Engineer I

Job Description : SW Engineer will provide operational support to a distributed real-time data collection system. Provide pre-mission, mission, and post-mission support to AF operators and other contractors. Install SW, checkout and debug SW/Systems, design, and develop solutions to problems discovered through installation, checkout, use or systems analysis. Determine failure root cause, develop, design and implement solutions or coordinate with customer and plant engineers to resolve issues. Analyze system performance vs technical requirements, research and make SW/Systems improvement recommendations. Create and schedule back-ups, generate new accounts and perform other system administration tasks.

Required Skills:

  • Maintenance, troubleshooting, debugging, scripting of UNIX platforms
  • WebLogic
  • Oracle
  • C++
  • Security A+ Cert or acquire within 6 mos
  • TCP/IP, networking knowledge
  • SECURITY CLEARENCE: EXISTING TS/SCI IS REQUIRED.
