If you are looking for an opportunity to see immediate, positive and material business benefits from your technology skills and experience, this is the time join Lowe?s Sr Solutions Analyst Job Description This Senior Solutions Analyst is expected to lead internal and external resources in requirements gathering, analysis, design, documentation and delivery. This analysis includes formulating solutions alternatives that will meet defined specifications, solution/program interdependencies, and analysis validating the solution meets the business requirements. ? Must be able to analyze and formulate solution alternatives that will meet defined business problem ? Develop program proposals and business cases in support of new programs ? Apply an understanding of Lowe?s methodology, policies, standards, and internal and external controls. ? Interact with solution delivery partners (including 3rd party vendors), supporting IT teams, and business representatives to analyze requests, accurately size, plan, deliver, and support the required effort. ? Prepare timely status reporting ? Analyze solution/ program interdependencies ? Validate the solution meets the business goals, objectives and business strategies ? Develop solution documentation ? Facilitate issue resolution and escalation ? Develop effective working relationships with Store Operations, Loss Prevention, Engineering and other IT department to develop solution designs and deliver business solutions Position Requirements ? 5-8 years of structured project methodology experience with increasing levels of leadership responsibility ? A minimum of a Bachelor?s Degree or comparable job-related experience is required ? Proven ability to successfully work with business users and other IT departments ? Effective leadership skills with ability to lead in a team environment ? Effective listening and communication skills. ? Ability to successfully deliver solutions to business problems ? Knowledge of SDLC quality standards ? Effective organizational skills with the ability to multi-task on several projects simultaneously and self manage activities ? Effective problem solving skills with the ability to effectively resolve issues ? Effective presentation skills with the ability to make presentations to diverse types of audiences (e.g. senior management, mid level management, vendors, business user and technical staff) ? Information Technology acumen ? Ability to perform Project Manager type responsibilities for smaller projects ? Ability to communicate technology solutions on a high level to non-technical business people ? Foster a collaborative environment between IT and the business ? Understanding of basic financial analysis, budgeting, and planning concepts ? Ability to provide a high level of customer service ? Proficiency in Microsoft Project Preferred Qualifications: ? IT experience within Supply Chain solutions area ? JDA or other Supply Chain Management software package ? Knowledge of Information Technology Operating Model ? Strong prioritization skills ? Excellent planning skills ? Ability to quickly learn the business in unfamiliar areas
