Partner with UHG Enterprise Sourcing and Procurement (ESP), Legal, Information Risk Management, Finance and Line of Business leaders to mange vendor contracts in support of the ESP Print and Mail team. Support department manager with data collection, drafting and managing vendor specific print and mail contract documents (e.g. MSA's, SOW's, NDA's). Provide support to the ESP Print and Mail team with development of RFP's and Statements of Work associated with vendor programs. Work with mergers and acquisitions team on review and integration activities associated with on boarding new business into established corporate programs.
Strong oral and written communications skills, with the ability to create and present fact based recommendations to various management levels in support of print/mail contracting initiatives. Solid PC skills including the use of Outlook, Excel, Word and contract management tools.
Jobs in this family are responsible for effective, organization-wide purchasing of services, materials and supplies in order to maximize cost efficiencies, price leverage and quality while also identifying and mitigating risk to the organization. Typically oversees development of broad internal policies and strategies, specific parameters for procurement, vendor selection and negotiation.

- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience, or legal Assistant/Paralegal Certification.
- Five or more years contracting and/or procurement experience, with strong strategic sourcing background.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple agreements with varying levels of complexity, spend and duration.
- Ability to work in corporate setting, interacting with segment, Legal, Compliance, and a variety of management positions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of contract management tools and processes.
- Strong experience in the processes of preparing, soliciting and scoring RFI's/RFP's
- Solid knowledge of print and mail operations a plus.
- Must posses ability to multitask and prioritize competing priorities.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Proficient/Intermediate level of skills with Outlook, Excel, Word and contract management tools.
