Sr. Supplier Quality Analyst Job in Huntington 46750, Indiana US
Carrier Electronics is seeking a Sr. Supplier Quality Analyst to support production for its UTEC facility located in Huntington, IN.
Responsible for supplier quality for Carrier's internal customers worldwide. Specifically, the position requires incumbent to possess in depth knowledge of the quality as it pertains to electronic controls manufacturing and the Carrier design process.
Other requirements include:
- Regular communication with manufacturers and customers worldwide
- Quality data tracking and reporting to management
- Lead customer quality meetings with internal facilities worldwide
- Perform corrective and preventive actions with suppliers
- Interface with design teams to drive changes for quality improvement
- Establish customer metrics and contacts for new products
- Perform 1st article inspection
Support commodities assigned
Must possess a firm knowledge and application of APQP (Advance Product Quality Planning) and PAP (Part Approval Process) for key internal customers on all new product launches, Quality Data tracking and reporting to management.
Strong statistical tool application.
BA/BS degree with 4 to 7 plus years of experience
MA/MS degree with 2 to 5 plus years of experience
Certified in Lean Manufacturing concepts: Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt certification with proven project success
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite tools
Minitab experience
Strong problem solving skills
Must be a self-directed individual
Must have related operations experience
FMEA Control Plan experience
Working knowledge of Value Stream Mapping
