Sr. Supply Chain Planning Analyst Job in Providence 02901, Rhode Island Us

The Sr. Supply Chain Planning Analyst will optimize inventory, minimize cost, and set and achieve customer service goals which include: forecasting, capacity planning, execution oversight, and monitoring and reporting of results. The Sr. Supply Chain Planning Analyst will provide input for SOP processes for a given business segment in order to align market and financial requirements with manufacturing capabilities. The Sr. Supply Chain Planning Analyst will be responsible, but not limited to:
• Maintain demand forecasts to ensure accurate forecast(s).
• Complete complex spreadsheet analysis during issue resolution or scenario planning.
• Contribute the planning aspects of new product launches during the pre-launch phase.
• Provide input to the Business Planning process annually and provide quarterly updates.
• Provide analyses to Product Managers and Marketing to decrease demand variations.
• Provide oversight of manufacturing, inventory deployment and distribution to ensure customer service.
• Query databases for information required for decision-making.
• Provide input for SKU rationalization and other lifecycle management analyses.
• Conduct analysis for inventory allocation where worldwide service is maximized.
• Monitor capacity loading on assigned production lines and forecast.
• Calculate ISS requirements in terms of weeks of sale for new product launches.
• Contribute to product phase-out such that obsolete inventory is minimized.
• Calculate, propose and maintain safety stock targets.
• Prepare Executive Level presentations as required.

Who we're looking for
•  Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or Operations required. MBA/MS a plus.
•  Must have basic experience of forecasting techniques, inventory management, and capacity planning.
•  Excellent analytical and communication skills.
•  Good interpersonal skills.
•  Must have advanced Excel skills. Access is a plus.
•  Various experiences with Planning Systems and ERP/APS systems a plus.
•  2-6+ years of related experience. Manufacturing/Life Science/Medical Device preferred.
