Job Description: Seeking a skilled and experienced System Engineer to provide onsite support for an important Government customer.Responsibilities include overall technical leadership and direction across the program; oversee the system development process from requirementanalysis, system design, risk reduction, technology insertion, implementation and integration, and system deployment, to include personnel,hardware, software, budgetary, and support facilities and equipment. Develop software development plans in support of overall architecturalplans established by the customer project leader and the lead Systems Engineer on the effort and the Capability Maturity Model Integration(CMMI) best practices. Provide guidance and support to technical and programmatic requirements derivation and senior technical guidance andleadership of engineering, analysis and development teams. Candidate will join a growing team that delivers onsite professional services. Thework location is Columbia, MD and nearby areas.Required Skills, Experience, and Education: Job requirements include a current Top Secret SCI clearance with lifestyle polygraph, aBachelor of Science degree in computer science, computer engineering, or information systems or related discipline. Sixteen years systemsengineering experience that encompassed system architecture, requirements analysis, design, production, integration, test and transition intooperation. Ten years of systems engineering experience on programs/projects with communication systems and information technology withinan intelligence community environment. Four years demonstrated experience as a senior systems engineer on complex projects with multipletasks.
