Sr Systems Engineer II - Security Systems Installation

SR. PROJECT ANALYST / SR. SYSTEMS ENGINEER II

RTSC is anticipating opportunities supporting the US Department of State (DoS) Office of Science and Technology (ST) in the installation and maintenance of security equipment at its facilities worldwide to protect its personnel and the USA's critical national security information. We are currently seeking candidates for that anticipated work to provide security system enhancements/upgrades for technical security capability of facilities overseas to reduce security vulnerabilities and ensure a safe working environment for all U.S. Government employees and visitors at diplomatic locations worldwide. All activities under this contract will be performed at U.S. Department of State facilities in the Washington, DC metropolitan area and overseas U.S. Government Diplomatic Posts.

Job Description:  As the Sr. Systems Engineer, you will define, design and develop system requirements. You will assesse architecture and current hardware limitations, define and design complex system specifications, input/output processes and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility. You will coordinate design of subsystems and integration of total system. You will analyze and resolve difficult and complicated program support deficiencies and conduct independent technical investigations in systems design. You will coordinates and consolidate design efforts on major projects and performs engineering site surveys at remote customer locations. You may provide work leadership to lower level employees.

 

Basic Qualifications: You should have a minimum of six  years of system design experience, including hardware/software integration.

 

Education:  A Bachelors degree in Engineering is preferred, OR an Associate Degree in a technical field with at least 10 years of relevant experience OR HS and 14 years experience.
