Job Description: The Time Warner Cable Corporate office currently seeks a Senior Systems Engineer for its ATG National Network Operations and Deployment Department. Below, please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position. Essential Job Functions: Perform onsite remote support for client server upgrades primarily in Motorola markets Validate ATG documentation, procedures and processes related to products and features being trialed or deployed in the field and ensure all feedback is propagated back into the documentation Investigate and troubleshoot any issues raised from ATG deployment efforts and provide accurate data to appropriate development, product or support teams Ensure that new product and feature sets are reliable, meet the needs of our customers and have minimal operational impact Assess risk of key deliverables and plan necessary corrective action as needed Job Requirements: Successful candidate will have 3 ? 5 years of cable infrastructure experience and 6 ? 9 years of prior engineering experience Have a strong knowledge of Time Warner Cable products and services; have knowledge of how they are used by its customers and have a deep understanding of the infrastructure Successful candidate will have previous experience of deploying customer-facing products Must be able to demonstrate successful management of engineering tasks that have increasing levels of scope and complexity Must have experience coordinating and communicating with both internal and external customers Demonstrated leadership, planning, organizational and analytical skills Excellent written, verbal, presentation and communication skills Must have an understanding of technical product development, test environments and operational support activities Preferred Qualifications: Engineering/Computer Science background a plus Tool development using open source platforms a strong plus Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent training, education and experience. Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities: No Supervisory responsibilities with this position.
