Gotprint.com has led the industry with its web-based Global operations and began building a nationwide network of offset printing facilities to provide faster, more responsive service to our customers. What began in Burbank, CA has now evolved across the United States with facility in Kentucky, offices in Netherlands and now expanding to our new location facility in Texas.
This forerunner in the Printing Industry is searching for Senior IT System Administrator to be responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure. The qualified candidate will participate in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure. The qualified candidate will ensure that networking infrastructure; system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values and support structure.
In this Senior System Network Administrator role, the ideal candidate will assist with technical issues in the initiation and planning phases of organizational projects. These activities include the definition of needs, benefits, and technical strategy; research development within the project life-cycle; technical analysis and design; and support of operations staff in executing, testing and rolling-out the solutions. The qualified candidate’s participation on projects is focused on smoothing the transition of projects from development to production by performing operational activities within the project life-cycle.
Requirements for this position:
- 4+ years system administration experience
- 4+ years of administrating enterprise Windows environments
- Advanced administration experience in High Availability architectures with Work Load Management and Clustering
- Robust TCP/IP networking knowledge including switching/routing (HP Procurve, Cisco or Sonicwall)
- Responsible for monitoring performance and system usage.
- Experience in the disaster Recovery Plan (DRP), backup systems.
- Excellent understanding of networking security concepts (Routing, switching, VLANS, WIFI)
- Direct experience with the following: Windows 2003 and 2008 servers, Active Directory customization and Storage Appliances
- Preferred experience with PowerShell scripting, SAN + Fiber Channel switching, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Dynamics/Navision, VOIP phones, HP Procurve Networking
- Experience managing Microsoft server environments (200+ users)
- Experience working in a culturally diverse environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strategic and forward thinking
- Ability to be proactive and work independently with limited direction
- Comfortable with a fast pace and changing environment
