The Senior System Administrator position is responsible for exhibiting technical leadership and competency pertaining to the daily administration, oversight and support of all information technology assets for the division. The position will reside in our Anaheim Headquarters. Essential Duties Responsibilities: -Monitoring server and application availability and performance -Providing security administration for the network and several enterprise applications -Ensuring data security, integrity, and backups in accordance with corporate policies -Working with peers to troubleshoot application, database and network related issues -Identifying and optimizing implementation tasks where needed - Provide mentoring and guidance to less senior members of Systems Division staff - Collaborate on the integration of new technologies through close teamwork across departments - Contribute feedback to defining policies and procedures in the area of Systems Management Administration, Security Administration, Backups, Build Standards, and Disaster Recovery - Perform quality and quantitative assessments on health of all division computer and network assets - Maintain documentation to support daily operations, departmental policies, and compliance with internal external audit requirements - Other duties as assigned Education Qualifications: - Bachelors of Science in Computer Science preferred or other engineering field - 7+ years hands-on system / network administration and operational experience with Windows 2003/2008 servers -Experience with AntiVirus, backups, patching, hardware support and other common server support functions -Experience developing processes such as change control, server hardening, disaster recovery, and provisioning - Expert level knowledge of Microsoft Server technologies and their administration and maintenance - Expert level knowledge of Microsoft networking technologies and design concepts (AD, GPO, SCCM) - Thorough knowledge of VMware virtualization technologies and their administration and maintenance - Thorough knowledge of networking design principals, concepts and protocols - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to excel in verbal and written communications - Self Starter able to work with minimal supervision independently or leading team effort - Ability to effectively communicate with others in a professional manner We offer an excellent compensation/benefits package including health benefits, 401k match, holidays, vacation, career development, and more.
