Sr. Tax Manager, Domestic Taxes

Job Description Reporting to the Vice President of Tax Operations the Senior Tax Manager of Domestic Taxes will be primarily responsible for all federal tax requirements for the company including reviewing and supervising the consolidated annual and quarterly tax provisions, preparing and reviewing the federal income tax return, and managing other special projects as assigned. Responsibilities: * Work closely with the Director of Tax Provision to prepare/review the Company s domestic provision for income taxes under ASC 740 and related footnote disclosures * Manage the preparation and review of consolidated federal tax return, and the response to any queries from tax authorities * Manage other tax department special projects, including federal RD credits, changes of accounting methods, integration of acquired entities and operations, and other tax planning projects * Develop and maintain knowledge of federal income tax laws and current developments relating to the industry * Work closely with the Director of International Taxes, to coordinate all U.S. and foreign tax matters, and with outside consultants and tax professionals as required * Interface with the Finance group and numerous operating divisions on a regular basis to gather required information as needed and to respond to tax questions from the operating companies Qualifications: * Bachelor s degree in accounting * Minimum 8 years of experience in a public accounting firm and/or large public corporate tax department * In depth knowledge of ASC 740 * PC knowledge and skills using Microsoft Office applications * Strong interpersonal skills and excellent oral and written communications skills * CPA and Master s degree in taxation preferred What We Offer AECOM employees around the world enjoy a wide range of benefits and competitive compensation package.
