JOB SUMMARY

The Sr. Technical Lead, Systems Administrator interfaces regularly with other Systems Administrators, Network Administrators and the Technical Services Manager, and is responsible for the installation, monitoring and support of client facing enterprise systems and hardware in the data center.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·        Manage Windows Server Operating System monitoring and defining system standards

·        Define Windows Server Operating System security requirements and installation process

·        Responsible for inventory and maintenance of all equipment in datacenter

·        Accountable for defining the security and overall requirements for VMware environment

·        Responsible for defining and implementing the security requirement for the Citrix Internet facing environment

·        Responsible for the design, setup, monitoring, and maintenance of the Microsoft SQL cluster environment

·        Responsible for overall health of:

o   VMware environment and adherence to standards

o   Citrix environment and adherence to standards

o   Active Directory environment and adherence to standards

o   MS MOM and SCCM environments and adherence to standards

·        Audit, test, and approve server patching environment

·        Design and administer disaster recovery planning and testing

·        Interface with users and clients to respond to their needs and answer questions

·        Responsible for data center power requirements

·        Responsible for planning and forecasting capacity for all server systems

·        Other duties as assigned

 

REQUIREMENTS 

·        Degree in computer science or equivalent experience

·        At least 5 years’ experience supporting Microsoft and network technologies

·        Deep knowledge of Microsoft, storage and network concepts and products

·        Knowledge of TCP/IP and network equipment such as routers and switches

·        Strong communications skills with some experience in customer interface

·        Able to climb, crawl and lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation

·        Able to work night and weekend hours as required
