CSC has an immediate requirement for an experiencedand senior level Training Specialist to supportthe EnRoute Technical Assistance Support Services (ETASS) contract with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Located in Arlington, VA., US Citizen or Permanent Resident and must be clearable for position of Public Trust. Essential Job Functions Support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in all aspects of training assistance involving Instructional System Design (ISD), development and/or update of training materials,coordination of training events, resolving program training issues, and conduct of general Air Traffic Controller and Technical Operations training at designated FAA facilities. Position requires candidate to understand Air Traffic Control (ATC) operations and the ability to translate that understanding into training requirements and training materials. Reviews course evaluation analysis and results to determine effectiveness of training sessions with regard to course content and trainer. Resolves issues and/or implements revisions to course materials as necessary to improve training effectiveness. Qualifications Basic Qualifications Master's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Master's degree in business administration, computer science, engineering or related field preferred Twelve or more years of technical training experience Nine or more years of supervisory or management experience included Experience working with company software, systems, applications and network products Experience working with communications practices, principles and procedures for both on-site and on-line presentations Other Qualifications Strong communication and presentation skills Experience as an Air Traffic Controller a plus Instructional System Design (ISD) methodology experience preferred Twelve or more years of experience in training work Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong analytical skills Strong organization and time management skills Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines Travel to FAA facilities is required Ability to work independently and as part of a team Remote Work Authorized: No Relocation Assistence: Not Available Clearance Level: Public Trust
