Location preference is near one of our offices located in: Kent, WA, Sandy, UT or Lexington, KY This position may require some travel. May perform one or more of the following: Plans, designs and implements Avaya Telephony systems, including configurations, and supports/troubleshoot problems. Operates data communication systems, including LANs and/or WANs. Proposes and implements system enhancements (software and hardware updates) that will improve the performance and reliability of the system. Designs, analyzes, plans, and modifies network components supporting customer communication implementation activities. Develops and evaluates network performance criteria and measurement methods. Prepares the analysis of the capacity needs for switching, routing transmission and signaling. Conducts network architecture design, feasibility and cost studies. Function: Under general management, responsible for all administrative, operational and technical aspects of telephone and data communication systems within the assigned location. Responsible for customer service, including service delivery and communication. Job Description: Effectively manages and administers all telephony systems in assigned locations Provides inputs on design, planning and implementation of new business. Provides accurate quotations on new telecom facilities. Coordinates timely installations and troubleshooting efforts with vendors. Provide day/day support on all telephony system administration. Coordinates all telephony integration with Networking Departments Performs all adds, moves and changes in PBX s and related telephony equipment Keeps complete and accurate records/diagrams of Telecommunication infrastructures Responsible for verification of implemented site security procedures for Telecommunications Performs and keeps up to date on all IT Security requirements on PBX and related Telephony equipment Qualifications: 3 - 5 years of hands on telephony experience, specifically with Avaya. Thorough knowledge of Avaya telephony systems, completion of certification courses will be a plus+. Hands-on working knowledge with VoIP, understanding of VoIP Protocols and QoS Experience working with and configuring Avaya Application Enablement Services (AES). Good computer skills Email, Word, Excel, Visio Knowledge of Cisco WAN/LAN networks will be a plus+.
