Sr Test Engineer II

Job Description:

Responsible for the integration, verification and validation (IVV) of complex hardware and software processing systems for all phases of IVV from subsystem integration through formal system-level customer sell-off at the factory and field sites.  Responsibilities include IVV planning and sequence development; IVV plan preparation and maintenance; verification requirements development; test procedure development; system integration; system installation at field sites; test readiness reviews; test conduct at the factory and domestic/international field sites; test report development; and discrepancy reporting and resolution.   Requires cross-IPT coordination.   Serves as an integrator for major baselines, assists with delivery installations and performs testing for large verification events.  Develops and implements IVV work plans, schedules and labor requirements that are consistent with project objectives and milestones.  Coordinates IVV efforts with systems engineering, software engineering, quality, configuration management, safety and other disciplines.  Prepares, evaluates and implements corrective action plans based on test metrics.  Coordinates with field site personnel and acquisition customer/SETA personnel for test planning, execution and approval.  Ensures system readiness and integrity.  Supports ECR/ECP efforts as required.  Must have strong problem solving skills and be able to resolve issues.  Must have the ability to manage time and resources to meet assigned deadlines.  Position is located in Aurora, CO.
