This is a limited tenure position with duration of up to 1 year with the possibility of becoming a regular position. We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced engineer with exceptional knowledge of testing software. A candidate must have strong communication skills with the ability to communicate with staff of varying subject-knowledge levels. We will not sponsor or transfer visas for this position. (004371-42402) Basic Qualifications: Candidate must possess a Bachelors degree in computer science, computer engineering electrical engineering, or a computer-related field with 3 years of professional engineering experience required. Other Qualifications: The successful candidate will satisfy the following requirements: * Strong analytical and communication skills * Experience with Test Director, or similar-type test tool. * Demonstrated experience ISO901 certification or similar * Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and Quality Plans With the following attributes preferred: * Knowledge of code-mapping activities, including traceability * Knowledge of code debugging, verifying unit test, and routine maintenance of code * Basic understanding of software code i.e. PL/S,PL/I, Basic, HTML, or Java Benefit Eligible: Yes Exemption Status: Exempt Hours/Pay Period: Full time Schedule Details: Monday - Friday Full time Compensation Detail: Salaried - Education, experience, and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. *The minimum salary every 2 weeks is approx $2814.40, based on a full-time position Staffing Specialist: Cheryl Wilson Mayo Clinic is an affirmative action / equal opportunity educator and employer.
