Sr. Vice President of Product Development & Actuarial Job in Richmond, Virginia Us
VIRGINIA FARM BUREAU is in search of a Sr. Vice President of Product Development and Actuarial for Virginia Farm Bureau’s Mutual Insurance Company Affiliates. This position is responsible for the strategic direction of product development and the review, construction and approval of the reinsurance purchasing strategy. In addition, this position will oversee and lead the Actuarial department.

This position reports to the Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Virginia Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company.
Qualified candidates will have:
- Masters degree or equivalent experience
- Insurance specific advanced courses/designations
- Minimum 10 years experience in the property casualty industry
- Minimum 5 years management experience in property casualty
- Prior product development actuarial experience
- Strategic visionary
- Strong presentation and public speaking skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to people at all levels in the organization
