EducationDynamics is searching for a Sr. Web Analytics Specialist to join the team.
About the Job:
The Sr. Web Analytics Specialist will be the primary point of contact for all documentation, implementation, analysis and insights about the use and behavior of prospects on all of EducationDynamics' web properties. Using Omniture's product suite, the candidate will work with all internal departments and business units to develop actionable and insightful recommendations for how to increase customer conversion and engagement as a means of driving product development and growth.
Responsibilities:
- Liaise with internal teams (Account Managers, Operations, Media, Product, etc.) to define, prioritize and implement reporting/analytics needs.
- Develop a standard set of dashboard reports with actionable KPIs and publish on a regular basis.
- Create tagging plans and associated solutions documents for new initiatives.
- Drive the re-implementation of SiteCatalyst across the enterprise which includes all testing, tag verification and data validation.
- Develop ongoing identification and quantification of insights and optimization opportunities.
- Drive the transition to self-service analytics from business constituents via proper training and dashboard set up.
- Support building business cases to appropriately size and rank new product enhancements.
Required Skills:
- Experience managing A/B testing program (Test and Target) and working with database-driven sites and content management tools.
- In-depth knowledge and experience with Omniture's enterprise-level analytics tool SiteCatalyst.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access and other statistical software packages (experience building formula driven workbooks and working with pivot tables required).
- Ability to understand the business context and apply analytical concepts to provide business solutions.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in digital marketing and key position within a Web Analytics team or consultancy with strong experience in lead generation and web analytics platforms.
- General understanding of lead generation architecture and technologies (HTML, Javascript, Cookies, search and web media.)
- Strong analytical/quantitative problem-solving acumen.
- Strong with SQL and data warehousing experience a plus.
- Excellent relationship building skills with internal and external clients and resources.
- Good presentation and communication skills strongly required, including strong written and oral communications.
- WAA and UBC Award of Achievement in Web Analytics or equivalent certification is a plus.
