It's a PHP web developer position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance the Internet facing PriceGrabber.com sites while maintaining a holistic understanding of core PriceGrabber.com applications and technologies
- Develop efficient web services for use by the PriceGrabber community
- Take ideas and concepts from the business and turn them into tangible components of the site
- Entertain team members with jokes, dances, or other skills
Skills:
- Expert knowledge of PHP, Javascript, DHTML, CSS, XML, AJAX
- Working knowledge of SQL and database theory and application
- Working knowledge of web application security and performance tuning
- Working knowledge of web application design patterns and best practices
- Experience working collaboratatively in a shared code environment (SVN, wiki documention, ticket tracking)
- Strong critical thinking skills
Requirements:
- 5+ years experience as a developer in a high traffic web environment
- Computer Science or related technical degree strongly preferred
- You must be cool in some way. Maybe not rock star cool, but at least geek cool.
