Sr or Staff Design Verification Engineer (JS) Job Descriptions: - Implement the verification environment methodology for SoC IP blocks and full-chip. - Develop detailed test plans and write test documentations. - Implement block-level and system-level test benches, checkers, drivers, monitors and models. - Implement assertions, functional coverage points and tests for the design verification and performance analysis - Executing verification through directed and random tests for its functionality and interface protocols. - Debugging regression failures and identifying the root cause, suggest possible fix to design team. - Collaborate with multi-site team members supporting the verification effort Job Qualifications: - Bachelor/Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering (Master preferred). - 5-10 years experience in complex ASIC/microprocessor design verification, direct experience in SoC is preferred. - Proficient in C/C++, System Verilog, Verilog - Good knowledge of SystemC, perl/shell scripts. - Past experience in ASIC design verification flows and methodologies - Knowledge of design verification tool suites such as VCS, Verdi, Signalscan and Formal tools (Jasper,Zeroin,Magellan) - Good understanding of logic design and architecture - Experience with silicon debug and lab bringup is a plus - Knowledge of I/O ( DDR, PCIe, SATA) controller (along with domain knowledge of DDR, SERDES ) sub-system is a plus - Understanding of assertions, coverage and advance verification techniques (OVM, VMM, RVM) is highly desired - Must be a team player and possess succinct communications skills - Experience with successful ASIC tape-out from test plan to sign-off Join Aerotek, one of the leading providers of engineering and engineering support professionals in North America.
