General Summary
Provide support to Sr. Internal and external Regional Consultants in efforts to develop lead generation, by proactively identifying additional sales opportunities and promoting products and solutions through telemarketing.
Act as a support partner and assist with building a dedicated region's business with leads from the advisor community.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Be the primary point of contact for fielding/responding from inbound calls 800#s
- Proactive outbound sales telemarketing to financial intermediaries
- Execute calling programs to identify and qualify advisors with interest in SSgA products and service.
- Maintain daily contact with Sr. Internal Consultants
- Occasionally assist in the field at meetings and conferences
Update and maintain Onyx database
Skills
- Strong verbal skills
- Ability to sell and communicate sales ideas over the phone
- Ability to work as part of a team
Level of Education/Training/License
College degree and NASD Licenses 7 and 63 required
Familiar with Exchange Traded Funds, Mutual Funds and Separately Managed Accounts
