Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for the daily pricing and securities management of a wide range of equity, fixed income and derivative investment products across a number of accounting and trading systems.  Liaison with investment managers, portfolio administrators, compliance, IT and other operations groups from around the world to resolve various data and valuation issues.  Knowledge of equity, fixed income and derivative financial products is essential.  Familiarity with the accounting, performance or settlement standards would be an asset. Provides manager with feedback and contributes to process improvements initiative. With staff located in Boston and Bangalore India, the Data Management group supports all of SSgA's portfolios globally (Primarily in Boston, London, Paris, Toronto, Bangalore, Hong Kong, Tokyo and Sydney.), and therefore operates during extended business hours which could include coverage during Canadian holidays.

Scope Differentiation:

Able to assume responsibilities for all functions and tasks within the group

Bachelor's degree required, Advanced degrees are an asset.

3-5 Years of industry experience.

Prior experience working with Bloomberg and Reuters are strong assets.

Flexible work schedule will include occasional overtime and working on statutory holidays.

Ability to work under pressure; Detail oriented task driven

Ability to problem solve quickly and efficiently

Ability to process high volume of transactions in an accurate and timely manner

In-depth knowledge of Excel

CSC, CFA or other industry courses are consider an asset
