Required:
Minimum 2 years of experience using Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services 2008 R2 and Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services.
Solid SQL skills with a preference for PL/SQL
Experience using Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 Reporting Services, Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services, and Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Business Intelligence Development Studio
Must have experience tuning and optimizing queries
Degree in IT or equivalent work experience required
Must be a team player
Desired:
MDX
Oracle
Minimum 1 year Reporting Services Administration experience preferred.
Experience with very large databases preferred
Data Warehouse experience preferred
Job Functions:
Gather and document reporting requirements
Code reports against an Oracle Data Warehouse and SSAS cubes
Develop new reports/ dashboards or modify existing reports/ dashboards, using Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 Reporting Services, Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services 2008, Dundas charts and maps, and Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 Business Intelligence Development Studio.
Maintain report and database object versions using Team Foundation Server
Participate in peer reviews
Follow promote process for deploying reports into production
Identify and implement Best Practices for managing Reporting Services development and portal
Knowledge of Performance Point and/or Exadata considered a plus
Job Purpose:
Under General supervision, maintain and develop reports and dashboards using Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 Reporting Services. Must be able to interface with customers and gather and document requirements. Assist customers in researching data issues and designing reports. Administer Reporting Services portal.
