We have partnered with a Fortune 500 healthcare company based in the
Responsibilities:
- Prepares and reviews journal entries as required on a monthly basis.
- Analyzes financial transactions and ensures that they are appropriately recorded to the proper general ledger accounts and profit centers.
- Utilizes accounting knowledge to determine the appropriate accounting treatment of company expenditures.
- Conducts in depth general ledger account analyses.
- Prepares monthly account reconciliations of general ledger accounts that explain and justify the transactions and substantiate the month end balances.
- Identifies and investigates account variances, coordinating with field accounting personnel.
- Maintain effective oral and written communications with colleagues, management, and other departments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in accounting
- Experience using a major ERP system
- Advanced Excel knowledge
- 2+ years of Accounting experience
- CPA or progression towards certification preferred
