Job description: Reports directly to Controller/Director of Finance. Focuses primarily preparation of GAAP basis financial reports and related general ledger management and account reconciliations. Other ad hoc analyses as requested by Controller/Director of Finance or CFO.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Prepare consolidated monthly financial statements in accordance with GAAP and related profit center reports, including budget variance analysis.
· Perform financial analysis of reported results and related account balances
· Maintain the integrity of financial reporting and budgetary systems, including but not limited to management and oversight of all journal entries, direct participation in certain journal entries, and account reconciliations
· Prepare all cash account reconciliations, no less than monthly
· Prepare tax filings, other than Federal, as required to assist Controller/Director of Finance and respond to inquiries related thereto
· Participate in revenue recognition evaluation and related analysis of receivable accounts
· Assist in analysis of payroll reporting for physicians as well as for all other employees
· Perform such other accounting, financial, or administrative tasks as may be required from time to time – quite often on short notice - by the Controller/Director of Finance or CFO.
