Staff Accountant Job in Clarendon Hills 60514, Illinois US

A growing international importer based in the western Chicago suburbs seeks a dedicated and passionate accounting professional with International Letter of Credit payment submittal experience. This position will partner with the accounting and administrative staff to manage the submittal of international trade Letters of Credit other accounting and administrative related functions.

Job Responsibilities
Responsible for the submittal of Letters of Credit for payment.

Responsible for order entry, billing, credit processing and cash application.

Process month end closing for Accounts Receivable.
Accounts payable data entry in to business software system.

Preparation of month end closing journal entries.
Assist with development of policies and procedures.
Other accounting related and month end duties as assigned by the CFO

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting. Two to five years of accounting experience. Experience with Quick books is a plus. Must have an excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office products. Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, deadline-driven environment.
