Staff Accountants- (Up to $45k)
Principal Responsibilities:
- Prepare, record, and process accounts payable/ receivables and cash disbursement
- Monitor and analyze budget to actual budgets.
- Ability to query data bases and to generate reports using structured query language.
- Assist in developing short and long range financial goals, operating plans, policies and objectives.
- Assist in establishment and maintenance of internal controls, policies and procedures and keep current on all state and federal requirements related to accounting.
- Prepare quarterly and annual cost reports.
- Prepare allocations tables for indirect expenses and revenue items as needed.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
Qualifications and Requirements:
? B.S. degree in accounting. CPA preferred.
? Strong analytical skills.
? Effectively utilize technology such as computerized accounting packages.
? Excellent communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
? Balance multiple demands, prioritize tasks and retain clear focus.
