Staff Accountant
The Greysmith Companies is searching for an accounting professional who is eager to learn and grow as a Staff Accountant role. This employee will report to the Controller of the organization as well as participate within a diverse team environment assisting with the below responsibilities.
Specific Functions:
* Prepare and post journal entries, including payables and receivables.
* Assets and liabilities record keeping
* General ledger reconciliation
* Time-end closings
* Preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flows for internal reporting.
* Analysis of financial statements
* Prepare necessary financial information to support business, audit and regulatory requests
* Research and implementation of financial policies and procedures
* Distributes financial information to appropriate senior management
* Special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
* Degree in Accounting or related field
* Analytical and detail oriented
* Computer accounting software familiarity is recommended.
* 2-3 years of experience is preferred.
* Non-Profit experience is a plus.
