Great company (stable, global, and employee friendly) based in Washington, DC is looking to bring on board a talented and motivated staff accountant.
To be considered, candidates are required to have an accounting degree and should have a basic knowledge of GAAP and a couple of years experience in accounting.
The candidate will be very hands on in the areas of A/P, A/R, journal entry preparation and posting, assisting in month end close and financial reporting. Additionally, will be involved with external audits and perform various reconciliations.
Coupled with an accounting/finance degree, candidates will also need 1-3 years of accounting experience, either in public accounting, corporate accounting or combination of the two.

Recap of requirements:
Accounting/Finance degree from an accredited university
Knowledge of GAAP
