Staff Accountant to $65K Job in Boston, Massachusetts US
We are assisting our client in their search for a Staff Accountant. Responsibilities include process and reconcile activity for fixed assets, prepaids, intercompany and sales taxes on a monthly basis; overall general ledger responsibility (i.e. Monthly closing entries and G/L reconciliations) for recent acquisitions and holding companies; provide internal support to Finance group including FPA and Business Unit Controllers related to actual operating results in specific areas of responsibility; work with auditors on supporting schedules and specific inquiries; run and reconcile applicable monthly reports for sales tax filings and administer sales tax process with outside vendor; and serve as the system administrator of the Company's expense reporting system; responsible for maintenance, Oracle interface and troubleshooting issues. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting; 2-5+ years of accounting experience in public accounting or industry; advance knowledge and skills in Excel; ERP systems orientation including database application skills; good written and verbal communicator with the ability to interact with all levels of management; and excellent organization skills with ability to meet deadlines.
