Position Description

Located at the National Aeronautics and Space (NASA) Michoud Assembly Facility (MAF) in New Orleans, Louisiana. Support the Space Launch System program - Program Integration and Program Operations team. Interface with internal Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) as well as with the NASA customer. Assemble data from multiple sources using applicable schedules. Apply knowledge of policies, procedures, regulations (e.g., export compliance, intellectual property agreements) and standard best practices to deliver informational or technical materials (e.g., proposals, briefings, management reviews, newsletters, status reports, technical papers, brochures) to customers (e.g., government, foreign entities, commercial businesses), partners, suppliers and Boeing employees. Participate with organizational leaders in the development and implementation of plans and objectives (e.g., long-range strategies, organizational goals, objectives and initiatives) to meet requirements. Gather data from multiple sources to compile reports for management reviews and tracking performance to plan. Provide research and evaluation of organizational administrative issues. Perform a variety of support services (e.g., web design and maintenance, computing security, communications, policy and procedure review, process documentation, asset management, forms design and delivery). Support meetings and reviews to ensure that visibility is provided on appropriate and required information. Support and participate with leadership in determining the purpose and content of each meeting/ review, coordinate and compile briefings and utilize appropriate technologies to enable global interaction/ collaboration. Organize/ identify the logistics and facilitation of large meetings and events. Gather customer requirements for projects and ensure all requirements are met. Develop or contribute to the development and maintenance of the project schedule and budget and monitoring and tracking schedule execution and status communication. Work facility requirements by interfacing with focal points (e.g., telecommunications, computing, safety, security, facilities) to satisfy the needs of the business (e.g., consolidations, reductions, new business requirements, reorganizations) and employees (e.g., ergonomic, health, safety, virtual office, telecommuting). Participate in the planning and execution of employee-related activities and initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction and morale (e.g., employee survey analysis and action planning, all-employee meetings, award programs, safety activities, open houses, tours, community events). Maintain and track training requirements and interface with the training organization, subject matter experts, suppliers, partners and customers to identify content.

Typical Education/Experience

Level 3 - Bachelor's and typically 6 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
