Your Opportunity at Intuit: The team you would be part of is responsible for enabling easy access to critical business information by providing robust data and reporting infrastructure to support all of the businesses that comprise the Small Business Group. We work with our business partners to understand their processes, their requirements and the information needed to support their business operations and growth. In this role, you will be responsible for working with cross functional business teams to understand the business processes and data needs within the Small Business Group and delivering end to end solutions to meet those needs. This work includes partnering with both the IIT organization and the business to leverage and drive solutions. The ability to multi-task across concurrent projects is essential. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, significant experience with a track record of working across multiple disciplines and business units, a strong business and technical background, proven project management skills, and over eight years of demonstrable experience in delivering Business Intelligence solutions at all levels of Business Intelligence infrastructure and reporting. Proven communication skills across all levels of management is a critical requirement for this role. Responsibilities: * Leverages strong analytical and technical skills to lead end-to-end design of integrated data marts and Business Objects solutions for our primary partners: sales, customer care, marketing and finance, among others. * Analyzes and understands Intuit's core business processes, underlying source systems/ technologies, and data flows to design and develop enduring BI solutions that provide important analytical insights to help Intuit grow. * Creates and delivers solutions leveraging and extending existing Business Intelligence infrastructure with data governance and enterprise solutions in mind. * Drives for shared understanding and facilitates conversations among key participants and stakeholders. Proactively seeks input and works with cross functional business and technology partners to understand their needs and defined outcomes. * Drives and communicates Business Intelligence solutions and builds shared vision for implementation across business groups. Assists teams with acceptance and adoption of implemented solutions. * Improves upon existing processes and defines new processes necessary to ensure successful execution effective operating mechanisms, and resource allocation. * Coaches and mentors team members on project management best practices to build overall team bench strength. * Works with development groups to ensure solutions are scalable, repeatable and effective. Your Talents: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or related field. * 8+ years overall experience across business intelligence industry: requirements analysis, data warehousing, ETL, BI tools, analytics. * Proven ability to implement and deliver solutions at the levels of data warehouse, Business Objects universe, and reports * Proven experience delivering solutions with Business Objects, Oracle database, Informatica, SQL * Solid understanding of data modeling, data mart design and business intelligence best practices. * Hands-on experience launching and sustaining effective data governance across organizations and comply with corporate data governance models/efforts * Proven leadership, change management, and process management skills * Ability to quickly learn complex business processes and understand the underlying transactional systems * Demonstrated abilities to quickly assess and recommend solutions * Demonstrated ability to partner and collaborate across organizations to optimize outcomes * Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with ability to present complex ideas in clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical groups; strong presentation skills necessary to inform and influence a wide range of audiences. * Prior experience successfully working in a highly-matrixed environment Learn more about our award winning workplace and how we give back to our local and global communities.
