Primary Job Responsibilities Manage the due diligence review process for programwide, regional, and service-area projects produced by Business Marketing Communications Review marketing copy to ensure that they meet legal and regulatory requirements, including regional, federal, and Medicare compliance and false advertising guidelines, while also maintaining brand standards and marketing goals Serve as primary liaison to compliance and legal contacts in each region Submit projects for approval and permissions to internal and external reviewers Complete legal/regulatory review within the deadlines agreed to with project managers Manage relationships with external agencies Create a database to track and maintain relevant awards, permissions, and approvals Collect, analyze data and report on regulatory activities Edit, proofread and quality check BMC copy Support Senior Staff and Manager by developing/maintaining various editorial tools Shepherd copy draft through editorial process Support senior editor in development of BMC style guide Research, as necessary Develop and maintain relationships with colleagues across the organization to ensure timely responses Demonstrate project management skills and participate in complex problem-solving activities Major Responsibilities Works on assignments of moderate scope. Analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors Work requires moderate planning and scheduling Works closely with team members to execute against developed strategies, creative briefs, product and program plans, expectations and goals to ensure that deliverables achieve the desired results. Executes successful concepts for projects in a quietly, timely and cost-effective manner. Ensures the proper application of the Kaiser Permanente Style Guides, Brand Standards, Design Patterns and interaction designs across the enterprises properties. Prioritizes assignments and ensures deadlines are met to deliver all projects in accordance with project timelines and overall initiative strategy. Supports projects with high-quality designs and speed-to-market, error-free execution. Balances data, logic and intuition in decision making Balances creative and technical considerations in developing solutions for the Web space. Makes timely decisions. Generates pragmatic, sensible and simple solutions to complex problems. Moves quickly to eliminate roadblocks. Has discretion on defining of request process Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: - Minimum: Bachelor's and one (1) - two (2) years of work experience - Preferred: Bachelor's and 1 or more years of work experience - Substantial experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint Publisher applications - Four (4) year degree in related field Or equivalent experience - Some knowledge of policies, practices and systems - Limited use and/or application of basic principles, theories, and concepts - Limited knowledge of industry practices and standards - Clearly documents work and code - Demonstrates good written and verbal communication skills - Knowledge of healthcare industry preferred - Familiarity with Kaiser Permanente healthcare system preferred
