The Cooperative is seeking an experienced Staff Electrical EngineeringSupervisorwith a four (4) year engineering degree and a minimum of 10 years of utility experience in distribution engineering including experience in planning engineering, motor start calculations, distribution system analysis, and system protection and coordination. This position, as supervisor of the Planning Engineering Department, requires excellent communication and leadership skills. A Virginia Professional Engineering License is required or applicant must willing to obtain in a reasonable time. Must have a thorough knowledge of general distribution engineering in the areas of: system coordination, distribution system analysis, motor start calculations, power quality analysis, stray voltage investigations, and Work Plan preparation. Good skills with personal computers are necessary and familiarity with spreadsheets, database programs, and engineering programs is required.
