Position Description:

Key contributor in preparing the FPGA infrastructure, FPGA hardware and target builds for successful verification of Storage SoCs. The role includes partitioning and modifying the logic design meant for ASIC to suit the target FPGA platform, generating appropriate timing constraints for the particular FPGA partitions, building and maintaining an automated environment for generating FPGA netlists and maintaining the FPGA boards in the lab. Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields is a plus with a minimum of 5 years experience.

Qualifications:

- RTL coding in Verilog
- Simulation test bench development/verification
- Experience in partitioning design for FPGA targeting
- Logic synthesis and static timing analysis
- Experience using ASIC and FPGA design tools
- Experience in using high speed FPGA parts including Xilinx and Altera
- Realize the design in FPGA platform and verify the design in real system
- Lab experience bringing up FPGA platform
- Conduct test plans to identify functional problems and performance issues with FPGA platform and provide feedback to ASIC designers
- Knowledge of ARM and hard disk drive controller is a plus
