Staff Grade/ Consultant Psychiatrist Substance Misuse
Bognor Regis - Chichester - Worthing
£60 - £90 per hour
Hays Healthcare are currently looking for staff grade or consultant psychiatrists with experience in substance misuse for temporary ad-hoc placements in West Sussex community drug alcohol services; Bognor Regis, Chichester and Worthing. You will be working with a leading health and care charity who work with individuals, families and communities across England and Wales that are affected by drugs, alcohol, crime, homelessness, domestic abuse and antisocial behaviour.
This is an opportunity to be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary and multi-agency team who offer specialist prescribing services, rapid access to assessment, responsive titration and a range of clinical interventions to service users entering into the substance misuse treatment system, either through Open Access or through the criminal justice system.
You will contribute to the service to ensure that those who experience difficulties through the use of Drug and Alcohol consistently receive high quality services that adhere to the best practice guidelines and achieve high professional standards.
You will need to demonstrate effective leadership skills and a high standard of care, providing support and services for a variety of misuse related acute and chronic psychiatric illnesses.
You will be required to work flexibly across potentially more than one operational site as required, and work flexibly within the required working hours to maintain the most appropriate level of service provision.
You will be responsible for contributing to the overall performance of the service to ensure that contractual output targets are achieved.
