Your Opportunity at Intuit: Be responsible for engineering Intuit's next generation security tools and environment. A consultant mindset, self starter (can work autonomously), that builds relationships quickly and easily with other teams, and can communicate the complexities of security with a wide variety of audiences, including senior management. The candidate must possess a strong understanding of the underlying technology behind security systems, and the systems it protects. The candidate should have experience working with large scale deployments of networks and systems, while remaining vendor agnostic. Skilled in seeing past vendor sales discussions, and engineer a durable environment. Looking for someone who understands and can deconstruct how security technologies works from top to bottom. They should be able to perform risk assessments in network, system and application areas. This person should be an expert with networking concepts like routing, filtering, and proxy technologies. They are able to work well with network teams when integrating security devices into the network, understanding the designs. They should have experience with integrating event management systems into operational duties for a variety of teams. They should be skilled in working incident response. They must demonstrate a continued willingness to train for, and receive, accreditation consistent with security operations and engineering. Your Talents: 5+ years in an infrastructure security engineering role 7+ years in an enterprise security role, or enterprise network/system Must possess experience with building partnerships across multiple business units and executing effectively. Strong command of English language (written and oral) at a business level is required. Extensive experience with a broad range of hosting platforms including Windows, Linux, and OS X. The candidate should posess a strong understanding of security event correlation and indicators of compromise as it relates to enterprise environments. Ability to work in a fast paced and collaborative setting, able to engineer systems from the ground up. Strong customer focus with ability to interpret and utilize the data. Must possess strong consulting, documentation and presentation skills.
