Staff Nurse/RGN/RMN
Our client, a well established nursing home in Waterlooville is looking for a Staff Nurse RGN or RMN to assist in the provision of comprehensive care to the residents and run shifts.
Staff Nurse will manage the care and recovery of residents in the nursing home, record patients’ vital signs, assess their medical conditions and report their findings to doctors. You will be reviewing the care plans on a regular basis, carrying out risk assessments, administering medication and injections and delegating tasks to the care staff. Staff Nurse will also take part in training new staff, appraisals, supervisions and attend review meetings.
Staff Nurse will need to have a valid PIN and be educated to bachelor's degree in nursing or equivalent and have all the mandatory training.
The right individual will possess good communication skills, be an active listener and will be able to remain calm in stressful situations. Good knowledge of CQC guidelines is also required.
This is a permanent post for up to 40 hours a week with an immediate start for the right candidate.
