Staff / Senior Accountant
Kforce is searching for a degreed Staff/Senior Level accountant preferably from the Banking Industry with experience applying accounting policies and principles to properly record, report and maintain financial data associated with the bank's operational activities. Primary Responsibilities: * Prepare board report packets * Review GL and DDA reconciliations * Review application balancing * Security portfolio accounting * Fixed asset accounting * Regulatory reporting * ALCO Reporting * Missouri Sales/Use Tax returns * Assist in departmental audits To qualify, you must have the following requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Accounting * Three to five years of accounting experience * Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines * Attention to detail with high degree of accuracy * Excellent Microsoft Word and Excel skills * Strong interpersonal skills * Experience with investment accounting, fixed assets, ALM, and bank regulatory reporting (preferably Call Report, FHLB Collateral, and FR2900) Preferred Qualifications: * Banking experience with regulatory reporting component * Master's degree or working toward
